One toppled wedding cake is all it takes to start a romance in the trailer for Red, White, and Royal Blue, based on the book by Casey McQuiston.

The cake in question is the centerpiece at a royal wedding, and the people doing said toppling are British Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) and American first son Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez). Alex and Henry loathe each other, but their very public (and cakey) feud prompts a damage control tour that forces the two to spend even more time with each other. It's not long before their enmity shifts into love.

There are many complications to Alex and Henry's romance, such as their political careers and Henry's mother's (Uma Thurman) re-election campaign. But there two will do whatever it takes to stay together — and make some history along the way.

Red, White, and Royal Blue premieres Aug. 11 on Prime Video.
