VR might be the next evolution in gaming, but it's also the next evolution in getting scared sh*tless. And a new Resident Evil game hopes to lead the charge.
The seventh numbered title for the old franchise seems to be going back to its horror roots, full of creaky floors, barely-lit rooms and large things that go bump in the night. Of course, this will all be far, far worse in VR.
The trailer gives a Jan. 24, 2017 release date, and many a happy Sony fan will probably have some trouble going to sleep tonight.
