New Zealand's flagship airline Air New Zealand are purveyors of air safety videos you'll actually want to watch. Their latest offering features Anna Faris and Flight of the Conchords' Rhys Darby who gift us with a tongue in cheek Hollywood spoof that marries cinematic tropes with messages about the importance of wearing a seatbelt during turbulence, somehow.

In 2014 we were blessed with an air safety reminder with a Hobbit twist and this latest video is equally determined to get your attention, plus remind you to switch your phone to flight mode and instruct you to refrain from swimming near a creepy swamp at night time.

The company has a knack for roping Hollywood big-hitters into their often weird but always wonderful videos about air safety.

Most people who fly would rather put in ear plugs and go to sleep than watch a bog-standard safety demonstration but Air New Zealand are all about going that extra aeronautical mile to keep you entertained and safe.
