Mountaineer and rock climber Stefan Barthel was recently clearing a new climbing path in Spain, when he made the mistake of grabbing onto a slightly loose rock.

Cue near-fatal rockfall.

Rockfalls like this are dangerous, but aren't particularly common. Still, there's more than enough material in here to make you quietly freak out at your desk.
