'Batwoman' star Ruby Rose opens up to Jimmy Fallon about her serious stunt injury

Ruby Rose had quite the time of it on the Batwoman set.

The Australian actor talked through it all with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, describing multiple "comedies of error" that happened on set. First, she was allergic to her mask. But then, more horrifyingly, a stunt injury left her at risk of paralysis.

Rose told the Tonight Show host about her experience, how she got through it, and what she's learned from the experience. It's beyond belief that she kept working with such serious injuries.

"I wasn't paying attention to my body, I wasn't listening. I was in such a hurry to get everything done," she said. "That was the world's way of saying, you're going to have to pay attention and you're going to have to slow down. And you're not actually a superhero."
