Climate change is here and Ingrid Michaelson has a song to sing about it. Last night on Full Frontal, Samantha Bee addressed the need for government action to combat climate change, which she argues arrived this summer in the form of constant natural disasters across the country.

"If we had a hurricane made of guns, maybe we could have both of those talks," Bee says of the two most pressing issues currently facing our society. "Either that or it'll get elected governor of Florida."

If only Gun Hurricane for governor of Florida 2018 didn't have such a nice ring to it.

Her rant ends with a live parody of Ingrid Michaelson's "Be OK," in which Michaelson is dressed as the Earth and sings that "Puerto Rico's getting washed away" and "paper towels won't keep waves at bay." Hopefully her catchy song makes its way to the Capitol soon or we'll need to take the Earth up on that "good luck trying to live on Mars someday."
