"Going to the Women's March was like waking up from a nightmare to find that the monster was real but all your friends were there with sticks and torches and unflattering hats to beat back the darkness," Samantha Bee said on Wednesday's episode of Full Frontal.

Bee used her first episode of the Trump presidency to unpack the inauguration and why women marched around the world on Saturday.

"Our executive branch is in the hands of a septuagenarian size queen and a corn-fed fertility cultist who calls his wife 'mother,'" Bee added. "So forgive us if we're a little worried about getting zapped back to Pleasantville."

Bee pointed to Fox News' coverage of the marches, which only highlighted Women's Marches in "liberal cities" like New York and Los Angeles, and then dropped a whole lot of pins on the map, including Des Moines, Wichita, Mentone, Fairbanks, Kanab, Loup CIty and Zebulon.

The last few, admittedly, "sound like Star Trek planets," Bee said but are "real American towns where real American people are getting real woke real fast."
