Samsung releases heartwarming video to promote its service vans in India

Indians love to be tugged at their heartstrings. Or so they say.

And the latest television commercial launched by tech giant Samsung has left a lump in the throat of many.

Through this video, Samsung — which has been under fire of late because of mishaps surrounding its Galaxy Note7 smartphone — stresses on the need to build long-lasting relationships with the consumer.

And it conveys the message beautifully by showcasing a young engineer who beats all odds to reach a house in rural India. What greets him is wide-eyed wonder. No pun intended.

The four-minute long video surely ignites memories of a Google ad film from three years ago, that had shown long-lost friends being reunited via discoveries on Google Search.

While Google was promoting its Search product in India, Samsung is now spreading the word about its network of service vans.

And both smartly use emotions to tell a story.
