If you're confused by all this talk of trade deficits, fear not -- the second-grade kid in the clip above is here to break it all down for you.

The video above was filmed for Jimmy Kimmel Live in response to Donald Trump's recent tweet about China, in which he wrote: "When you're already $500 Billion DOWN, you can't lose!"

"That's not how trade deficits work," says Kimmel in the clip. "So to help the president understand it in very simple terms, we asked a second grader named Shiloh to help explain it to him."

To be fair, she does do a pretty excellent job.
