If there's anyone a hitchhiker can trust, it's Paul Rudd.
The actor stars in the new Netflix original film The Fundamentals of Caring as Ben, a caretaker for a wheelchair-bound boy named Trevor (Craig Roberts). The film is based on a novel by Jonathan Evison.
During a road trip to lift Trevor's mood and find his biological father, they pick up a cigarette smoking runaway named Dot (Selena Gomez). She immediately takes to them, sprinkling some light, foul-mouthed manic pixie dream girl magic on the road trip.
The Fundamentals of Caring, directed by Rob Burnett, hits Netflix on June 24.
