The sensates are back, baby. And they've brought even more sensates with them.

Netflix has dropped the new trailer for Sense8 Season 2, which plays up the Whispers storyline.

"This is not a game," he says sternly. "This is a war."

The trailer is about as conventional as Sense8 gets – there's less philosophizing than usual, and fewer touchy-feely moments, and no orgies to speak of. Watching it, you could almost get the impression that this was just your typical sci-fi thriller.

But that last part, when Wolfgang and the rest of his cluster meet that other cluster? I don't know about you, but it made me cheer at my computer screen.

Sense8 Season 2 drops May 5 on Netflix.
