It looks like this hell of a week has finally broken Seth Meyers.
After "A Closer Look" at Trump's controversial trip to El Paso following a mass shooting — even when the president still owes the city half a million dollars for public services used during a February rally — the Late Night host couldn't keep it together.
And it was delightful.
"Man, going back to El Paso when you owe the city half a million dollars is a bold move," said Meyers (skip to the 9-minute mark in the clip above).
"In fact, the bill has actually gotten bigger the longer it goes unpaid," he said, noting the late fee added by the city in June. "Of course Donald Trump has incurred a late fee. That's so him. I'm surprised his oval office desk isn't covered in unreturned Blockbuster DVDs."
"You guys seen Tango and Cash?" mocked Meyers in a Trump voice. "It's really good. Lotta chemistry between the two leads. I'm a Tango guy!"
The amount of giggling in this bit will inevitably give you a good giggle too. We all need it.
