For his latest Closer Look segment, Seth Meyers has a new target: the media that “salivated over the possibility of a more presidential Trump" after his first address to Congress.
Meyers, who last month slammed Donald Trump for his inconsistencies about the wall, mocked the media for "obsessing" over Trump's tone. He responded to pundits who said Trump "became the president of the United States" after the address:
“I bet there are some Muslims and undocumented immigrants that would tell you he became president back in fucking January."
"Guys, seriously, do you have amnesia?” he asked.
He gave a final warning: “Let’s not get fooled again. We’ve been here with Trump before.”
