Just in case you weren't sure whether U.S. politics as become a massive international joke, on Monday's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers the host took the opportunity to skewer Rudy Giuliani's butt-dial to a reporter.

This is what we've come to, folks. Presidential lawyers making high-profile butt-dials, and that not even being the silliest event in American politics this week.

Meyers also looked at the manner in which the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was announced, with Trump commenting that it was "as though you were watching a movie."

"This raid was a major military and intelligence victory for the United States," said Meyers. "And yet even in announcing such a huge achievement, Trump couldn't help but do what he always does: make it super weird."
