Donald Trump may have gone to Scotland for a few days of golf, but that doesn't mean he can escape the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Quite the opposite, in fact.

In the Late Night clip above, Seth Meyers recaps how press questions about Trump's relationship with the convicted child sex offender followed the president throughout the trip. In one of his responses on Monday, Trump told reporters, "I never had the privilege of going to his island," referring to Epstein’s private Caribbean island Little St. James, the site of many of the financier's alleged crimes.

"Ah, you were doing really good right until 'privilege'. 'Privilege' was not the word you wanted to use," says Meyers, before launching into a Trump impression. "A trip to that terrible island was sadly not an honor that was ever bestowed upon me. 'Privilege' makes it seem like you never turned down an invitation. It seems like you were checking your messages every day in hopes one was forthcoming. You'd be like, Any calls from Jeffrey? No? Yeah, I remember when he used to call."
