With the first vote of Donald Trump's impeachment in the pipeline, Seth Meyers decided to pause and take stock of recent events — from the reaction among Republicans to the president doubling down on his description of the Ukraine call as "perfect."
"Stop saying 'perfect'!" says the Late Night host in the clip above. "When you over-compensate like that it only makes you sound guiltier!"
And as for the Republican who compared the whole situation to "a horror movie"?
"I'm sorry, but you guys don't get to complain that you're in a horror movie when you're the ones who invited The Baba-Crook into the White House," Meyers says.
