The coronavirus pandemic has prompted thousands to take up new hobbies while cooped up at home, and actor Seth Rogen is no exception. Speaking to Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, Rogen said he's been filling his time with "a lot of pottery," which he'd been reluctant to try but quickly fell in love with.

"Clay was not considered an essential service, though, so I literally had to buy illegal clay. I literally made an illegal clay deal from the back door of a pottery studio," said Rogen, adding that it felt like "the most apocalyptic thing that has happened to [him]."

Rogen also spoke about playing two different characters in his upcoming film An American Pickle, which will be available to stream on HBO Max on August 6. Though only one of his characters has significant facial hair, Rogen refused to use a fake beard because he "just think[s] they look bad." Instead, the production shot the whole film twice — once before he shaved and once after.

"You watch Avengers: Endgame, and you're like, 'Yeah, it looks great, but Thor's beard is the worst-looking part of that entire movie," said Rogen. "Like, they can better do 100 aliens fighting each other, they can'd do a beard."
