John Krasinski's Some Good News already hosted a prom for the socially-distanced class of 2020. This week he followed up with a graduation for everyone finishing up the school year, whether they're leaving Harvard or kindergarten.

A team of students from all over the U.S. and U.K. contributed to a unique valedictory speech about the historic uniqueness of their circumstances. Then Krasinski wheeled out basically the biggest guns possible: Oprah! Malala! Spielberg! Jon Stewart!

Outstanding students who asked Krasinski for advice instead got it from these icons, in customary SGN surprise Zoombomb style. The guests offered advice about dreams, low points, advice to their younger selves, and what comes next.

"Failure is an opportunity to move yourself in a different direction," Oprah told glowing Harvard grad (and the first ever National Youth Poet Laureate) Amanda Gorman.

"Stop completing things and start living them," Stewart told a young man also named John, after apologising for not being Oprah.

While Krasinski's star-studded stunts are typically what make headlines, his good news roundups at the start of each episode are noteworthy too. This one also has Samuel L. Jackson recreating an adorable Twitter story about two little girls who decided to brighten some days by yelling inventive, hilarious compliments at people on the street. There's also a weather report from Ryan Reynolds.

If it weren't so clearly, beautifully heartfelt, I'd start to wonder if SGN is just an excuse for Krasinski to flex his Hollywood clout. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find something to do with this newfound sense of possibility and hope.
