Shane Dawson is pulling into October hot to remind us all of the tantalizing drama that went down this past year.

Following massive hits like The Mind of Jake Paul, Dawson's latest installment in his YouTube docu-series refocuses on his friend Jeffree Star. However, this new trailer insinuates more than just a reimagining of an old story. While Dawson's previous coverage of Star has highlighted the beauty guru's extravagant lifestyle in Barbie pink Lamborghinis and rooms full of Hermes Birkins, this doc seems to take a more critical look at the role YouTubers play in each others lives.

Dotted between shots of Dawson and Star tearing up are reminders of the cataclysmic drama that happened this past year, including the drama between Tati Westbrook and James Charles, and Shane's involvement when hot gossip heats up to career-damaging scandals.

The melancholic background track is Catie Turner's "Prom Queen," and it sets the mood for an entirely new, less glamorous, more honest look at life as a YouTube celebrity. Get ready for its release on October 1 — this is gonna be a big one.
