We're not done with the Shape of You covers. Yet.
The Ed Sheeran song that has charmed audiences world over and spurred a series of covers has now got a Carnatic music treatment from a group at MIT.
And it's beautiful.
The video posted on the Facebook page of Indian Raga (a music education startup founded at MIT) has been viewed over a million times already.
Shot in the backdrop of a sun-bathed New York City, the music is almost entirely digitally produced, but somehow manages to retain its earthiness with the Carnatic notes.
