If you need yet another reason to be afraid of sharks, this one's for you.

Scientist Greg Skomal with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries was filming some underwater shark action on a research trip on Monday when a shark ready for a closeup got a little too close.

In the clip, the shark can be seen taking a bite out of the scientist's camera, giving a real-life, first-person view of a shark attack.

The agency insists its camera was just fine after the short attack.
