A horror film about someone daring themselves to stay the night in a haunted house might seem like nothing new, but Shudder's Deadstream comes with its own twist.

The movie follows a vlogger (Joseph Winter) who has been cancelled for an unnamed reason, and has decided to livestream his stay in "death manor" in order to rebuild his audience. As you can probably imagine, the decision doesn't end well.

Mashable's film editor Kristy Puchko described this one as "full of sick thrills and dark humour" and "a bloody terrific good time" in her review, so it could well be worth adding to your list.

Deadstream is streaming on Shudder from Oct. 6.
