Being stalked by a creepy stranger in the dead of night doesn't sound like the most original idea in the world — but what if the same stranger kept coming back again and again, even after you'd already killed them? And what if your husband didn't seem at all perturbed by the whole thing?

This is the set-up for Natasha Kermani's Lucky, a horror/thriller about a self-help author (Brea Grant, who also wrote the screenplay) who struggles to get those around her to take her situation seriously.

And although a horror movie in which the main character appears to be trapped in a time loop with the same killer isn't necessarily a new concept — the excellent Happy Death Day did something similar back in 2017Lucky does look set to add a fresh twist to the idea.

Lucky drops on Shudder March 4.
