Maybe it was a dare, or maybe that rodent is just a jerk.
A sleeping alligator taking an afternoon nap at Southwick's Zoo in Mendon, Massachusetts, was rudely awoken by a badass prairie dog.
In the clip, the prairie dog slowly makes its way to the resting gator, plopping itself right on the alligator's nose before waking it up. Once it wakes up, the alligator opens its mouth and hisses at the rodent.
Alligators, they're just like us.
