Open Road Films has released the first trailer for Sleepless, a remake of the excellent 2011 French film Sleepless Night that now features Jamie Foxx in the starring role.
Foxx plays a crooked Las Vegas cop who steals drugs from a crime lord and finds his teenage son subsequently kidnapped. He has one night to take matters into his own hands while avoiding an internal affairs investigation.
Baran bo Odar (The Silence) directs the action-thriller, which co-stars Michelle Monaghan, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris, Scoot McNairy, Dermot Mulroney, Gabrielle Union and Stranger Things sheriff David Harbour.
Sleepless will hit theaters on Feb. 24.
