Want to transform your boring, 2D world map into a miniature 3D model of the globe? Well, we've got good news and bad news.

It can be done, but the bad news is you'll need a very expensive camera capable of filming in 12,500fps. The good news? You can watch The Slow Mo Guys do it all for you.

In the video above, Dan drips water into a full glass and films the resulting droplet as it bounces in front of a large world map.

The final effect — when he's tinkered a bit with the settings — is a mesmerising 3D globe in a quivering ball of water.
