Watch these Shaolin Masters break a piece of glass using a needle in super slow motion

Throwing a needle through a pane of glass is one of the most difficult skills to perform as a Shaolin Master, taking at least ten years to train. It's impressive enough on its own, but how does it look slowed way down?

YouTubers Slow Mo Guys invited three Shaolin Monks to their show to demonstrate this feat.

After concentrating his energy, one of the Shaolin Monks throws the needle. In true Slow Mo Guys fashion, the footage is slowed down so we can see the exact moment the glass shatters. Though the needle itself does not pass through the glass, it shatters it hard enough to leave a crack and pop the balloon on the other side.

Inspired, Slow Mo Guy Dan tries to give it a go at the end. Spoiler: it doesn't really work.
