It's so very wrong, but it also acknowledges everything we've lived through for the past year.

Saturday Night Live took the occasion of newly relaxed masking guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control to bring out Kate McKinnon's Anthony Fauci for a little press conference. For this one, "Fauci" brought along a group of CDC doctors who also have an acting background, staging a series of scenes meant to offer real-world examples of how the new masking guidelines operate in practice.

It's a nice idea, except every actor on the stage deeply misunderstood the purpose of the exercise. Instead of offering best practices for continued mask-wearing, the assembled players let their extremely relatable experiences from the past year guide their performances.
