Imagine, if you will, the misfortune of being saddled with a name that combines two of the most infamous names of the last decade. Enter John Mulaney’s latest persona on Saturday Night Live: Harvey Epstein, a clean-cut but questionably-named New York assemblyman with designs on a city council seat.

In the sketch, Mulaney’s character rolls out a campaign ad that would be wholesome—if not for the uneasy insistence that he’s "definitely safe to be around kids." Then, cue the line from a local hotdog vendor: “Even Hillary couldn’t kill this guy.”

He's a different guy. And maybe the funniest part is that Harvey Epstein is a real guy who is running for city council in New York. Apparently, reality has once again killed satire.
