In the music video for "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)", Lil Nas X played an angel and a demon. His performance on Saturday Night Live had more of a "he's only human" vibe. While the first part of his fabulous set went off without a hitch, complete with amazing dancers and an audience member screaming his name, a planned pole dance finale went awry when Lil Nas X dropped it low...a little too low.

Once he noticed his pants split, Lil Nas X appeared to improvise a few dance new moves that wouldn't expose him further and finished the song triumphantly, making his performance one of the most professional-looking accidents to happen on the SNL musical guest stage.
