What if all the infectious diseases lived in a neighborhood together, wearing their virus particles the way we wear hats? What if they engaged with everyday society on the same level we do, bickering over the news of the moment and sorting through family strife?

Saturday Night Live imagined it all in this dark but deeply funny sketch about the Ronas, a family of COVID-19 viruses that's gathering for the holidays in a way that everyone else around the planet really shouldn't in 2020. The sketch makes the whole bunch sound like Trump supporters, which makes sense given that Donald Trump has done his level best to give COVID-19 a comfortable place to settle in the United States.

See, it's funny because it's true.
