The instructors at SoulCycle are renowned for being able to motivate large groups of spin class attendees with encouraging words. But sometimes those messages just seem a little... off.

Saturday Night Live took us inside a SoulCycle class led by a handful of instructors-in-training who took turns trying to motivate spinners while simultaneously being oblivious to how strange and/or dumb they're making themselves sound.

SNL newcomer Bowen Yang in particular shined in this sketch as an instructor who Googled racism and got sad.
