It's Kirk, but not as we know him.

With Chris Pine hosting Saturday Night Live this week, the writers obviously couldn't resist the opportunity to let the Star Trek franchise's new Captain James T. Kirk channel the original iteration of the character, made famous by William Shatner.

Pine did his best Shatner for a surreal sketch about the original show's "lost episode," featuring Bobby Moynihan as Spock's secret half-brother, Spocko, and it's comedy gold.
