Started making it, summoned a gateway to hell, bon appetit.

Generally, by the time a baker makes it to the Food Network they've already proven their skills and are ready to compete on TV. Saturday Night Live envisions a world where that's not true, like at all.

Three of the four bakers in the show's "Thanksgiving Baking Championship" sketch, one of which is a terrible rapper played by guest star Simu Liu, are absolutely crap at baking to the point of opening a portal to hell with the freakiest-looking pair of themed cakes ever created. The real question about this sketch though is if Pete Davidson was even supposed to be in or it if he just walked on stage so he could eat an entire plate of cake without anyone thinking it was weird.
