In this Saturday Night Live cold open, the newly re-elected 47th president (played by James Austin Johnson) sits down with outgoing President Joe Biden (Dana Carvey), who gamely attempts to brief Trump on the essentials for his second term. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t go well.
Chaos ramps up when Matt Gaetz (Sarah Sherman) and RFK Jr. (Alec Baldwin) crash the meeting, both hilariously embodying why they’d be the worst possible picks for cabinet roles. Gaetz eventually bails, claiming he has “girls' volleyball season” to attend to, while RFK Jr. scurries off with an urgent need to dump a dead dolphin in Central Park.
