Michael Che bamboozled Colin Jost during SNL's Weekend Update in celebration of April Fools' Day.

For the first half of Weekend Update, Jost's many jokes about Trump's indictment were met with muted laughter while Che's spurred rollicking chuckles and cheers. The lackluster response to Jost culminated in an audience member yelling, "You stink!" and Jost put his head down in defeat. Then Che revealed, "I asked them not to laugh at you for April Fools."

The co-hosts lost themselves in infectious chuckling and Jost exasperatedly said, "I was truly like am I not mic'd? And then I was like I just suck!"

The energy from Che's bit carries through the rest of Weekend Update where they roast Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's plans to protest Trump's indictment and Representative Andy Ogles' Christmas card, all while Jost keeps interrupting with further reactions to Che's prank.
