Saturday Night Live's Beth Sherman sits at the Weekend Update desk with a news graphic. The news graphic features a surprised-looking Sherman pointing to a person's cleavage which Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost is staring at intently, with artificially bugged out eyes. The headline reads: "Local pervert Colin Jost claims he's seen most people's nipples?"

Colin Jost, the co-host of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, has a memoir titled A Very Punchable Face. He knows people are itching to roast him.

Such an opportunity was handed to none other than Sarah Sherman, a featured player who joined the comedy crew with the start of Season 47. She's been used sparingly in the season's six episodes so far, but she came out swinging with a Weekend Update segment devoted entirely to tearing down Jost for innocuous comments.

Yes, there's also a layer here of poking fun at Fox News-style outrage antics where broadcasters blow some tiny, inoffensive thing completely out of proportion purely for the sake of driving outrage among viewers. But mostly this is just a funny, garishly dressed person bubbling with big energy as she unleashes the force of her comedic powers on Jost.

UPDATE: Nov. 14, 2021, 12:00 p.m. EST An earlier version of this story referred to Sarah Sherman as "Beth Sherman" for some reason. Don't blame Mashable, blame the tired, strep-ridden author of this post aka me. Apologies to *Sarah* and all her family, friends, and fans. You were really funny in this sketch.
