The trailer for Song for Song opens with Ryan Gosling's character flirting with a girl at a party — it's awfully familiar to a certain Oscar-bound musical, especially when you learn that Gosling plays a talented pianist with big dreams who falls in love. You'll even hear him singing at the end of the trailer about the two lovers.

"We thought we could just roll, tumblr, song to song, kiss to kiss," narrates Emma St... no, Rooney Mara.

Gosling's musical talent got quite the spotlight in La La Land, but it would seem the actor can't stay away from a piano in this serendipitous storm of new releases. First, there was La La Land:

Hell, it even made it into Blade Runner 2049:

Song to Song, written and directed by Terrence Malick, costars Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman. The film releases on March 17.
