Winter isn't all bad, you know.

Sure, it's cold, and icy, and miserable and stuff. But there is one hidden perk: in what other season can you listen to the delightfully melodic sound of ice shattering on a frozen pond?

"I'm an Australian living in the UK and have never seen or heard anything like throwing a sheet of ice across a frozen pond," wrote YouTuber Kyle Kennedy on Reddit.

Judging by how well the clip is doing -- it's got over 120,000 views and counting -- other people are clearly in agreement.
