Spoiler alert if you haven't watched Avengers: Endgame.

The first rule about Avengers: Endgame is don't talk about Avengers: Endgame.

That's the unfortunate plight of anyone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly the cast of the next film on the schedule, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, and Jacob Batalon joined Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday to chat about the film, but found themselves walking on eggshells attempting to speak to the film's plot — and they even worked with redacted scripts on set.

"It's kind of hard to learn your lines when you can't see them," said Zendaya.

The film picks up after Endgame, something that prompted a spoiler warning at the start of the trailer. But Kimmel picked up on one detail seen in the Spider-Man trailer, which stumped the cast and saw Batalon referring to what "might be one of the biggest plot holes of all time."

Beware, if you haven't seen Endgame yet, you might want to hold off watching the video. Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2.
