The latest trailer for the upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse looks absolutely gorgeous.

Taking place outside the live-action Marvel movie timeline we know and love, Into the Spider-Verse dives into the origins of Peter Parker's protégé Miles Morales as he learns what it takes to become the next Spider-Man. Oh and Spider-Woman, a.k.a. Gwen Stacy, is in this movie too which makes it 100 times more exciting for fans of the Spider-Verse.

The animation looks breathtaking, the soundtrack sounds like it's going to slap, and the humor is already present in the trailer.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse arrives in theaters Dec. 25.
