Stephen Colbert tries out wild fan theories on 'Star Wars' director J.J. Abrams

So you've got the director of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in front of you. Of course you're gonna throw wild fan theories at him and get him to crack dammit.

Although J. J. Abrams is pretty tight-lipped about plotlines from the forthcoming Episode IX, Stephen Colbert did his best to get the director to react to some truly ridiculous fan theories. These include:

  • "The good guys decide to build a Life Star."

  • "Chewbacca gets Harry's Shave Club for Christmas and, let's say, gets very busy."

  • "The whole movie is Count Dooku at the galactic DMV trying to legally change his name because come on, 'Dooku'?"

  • "Turns out Kylo Ren was Keyser Söze the whole time."

Oh my god. Abrams flinched! GUYS.
