A team of researchers from the University of British Columbia, Princeton University, the University of California, Berkeley and the Singapore-ETH Centre have created a bus stop-like pavilion that can cool you down without using a conventional air conditioner. The technology reduces the overall carbon footprint that traditional A/C’s emit, all while using half the energy.
