The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, as they say.

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry leads the NBA with 199 three-pointers, and it's easy to see where that came from — his dad.

Dell Curry, a former NBA player and current color commentator for the Charlotte Hornets, was at Oracle Arena for the Hornets-Warriors matchup on Wednesday night. Before the game, Steph joked around with Dell, tossing a basketball at his dad.

But Dell, who retired as the Hornets all-time leader in points and three-pointers, picked up the ball and drained one from downtown.

Steph was all smiles, and clearly took some of his dad's inspiration into Wednesday's game, putting up an astounding 11 three-pointers in the Warriors' 126-111 win.

Dell might not have been the superstar Steph has become, but he's definitely still got some left in the tank.
