Steph Curry's either meditating the NBA demons away or auditioning for the sequel to ‘Get Out’

Fear is the mind killer, unless you have a glowing red isolation tank like Steph Curry.

The best ads use a celebrity's widely known, but seldom acknowledged weaknesses to make a point.

Which brings us to the NBA's most valuable player, Steph Curry, and the new ad that forces him to confront the truth: Nearly everyone in the NBA thinks he's as soft as toilet tissue.

No, it's not true. He's 6'3" (that's big in the real world), muscular, and regularly takes the ball into the paint with the NBA's giants. But the "baby-faced assassin" can't get away from the softie tag, so he's leaning into the debate in this new ad for Kaiser Permanente, which includes a weird sci-fi isolation tank and the scariest drowning in your own subconscious sequence since Get Out.

I have no idea what this ad is promoting. Don't care. Let's have more of "intense introspective Steph" so we can help this guy erase the memory of his humiliation at the hands of LeBron James from his brain (Kaiser) permanently.
