If you happen to think Donald Trump's new budget is harsh or cruel in any way, then you're clearly wrong.

Stephen Colbert's super conservative alter-ego visited The Late Show to tell us why.

"Meals on Wheels started in 1972," he explains in the video above. "And I haven't checked the stats, but I'm pretty sure all those people are dead now."

Colbert then moves on to explain that the country's "food-addicted seniors" haven't even killed any members of ISIS, before describing the obvious perks of taking away lunch money for low-income school-children.

"Why feed children if they aren't doing better in school?" he says. "Take the food away and maybe they'll be hungry for knowledge."

Can't argue with that.
