Stephen Colbert celebrates Super Tuesday with 5 solid minutes of Joe Biden jokes

Stephen Colbert has previously referred to his Joe Biden impersonation as "the simplest impression of all time" – which is handy, because after Super Tuesday, the former vice president is well and truly back in the race.

Colbert's reaction? Some trusty, rapid-fire jokes, starting with a replay of Biden accidentally confusing his wife for his sister during a speech that night.

"It's an innocent mistake, but it can still cause trouble if it becomes President," says Colbert, before whacking on his shades and launching into his trademark Biden bit. "Here's my callback number, 302917— oop, that's the new nuclear launch codes, they switched 'em on me!"

Colbert goes on to a replay a clip of Biden triumphantly announcing that, despite everyone declaring his campaign dead, they're still "very much alive!"

"That's right folks, they said we were dead!" yells Colbert/Biden. "But then they dug me, strapped me to a metal slab, hit me with some lightning and Frankenstein'd me back, Jack!"
