A good rule of thumb this holiday season: do not ask Santa who he voted for.
If you do, you might end up like this sad Charlie Brown version of Stephen Colbert, who was dismayed to learn that all Donald Trump wanted for Christmas was for Santa Claus to vote for him. And Santa Claus obliged.
The result is a Christmas special with a protagonist sadder than Charlie Brown himself. Good grief.
