"Technically he didn't fail on Friday, he failed two months ago," Stephen Colbert said of Donald Trump.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert returned Monday from their March Madness break and Colbert dove right into the biggest news of the week: the Republican's failed plan to repeal Obamacare.

Though the president claimed that he never promised such a quick repeal of Obamacare, Colbert wouldn't let him off that easy. Instead, the late night host eagerly provided a reel of Trump's speeches that promised a repeal "immediately on day one."

And, while the president's team has claimed that Trump does not blame Paul Ryan for the failure, a certain Fox news reporter Trump mentioned on Twitter wants Ryan to step down as speaker of the House. What a crazy coincidence.
