The Democratic National Convention Day One was a long event, but luckily Stephen Colbert has all the big moments covered.

In the live monologue above, The Late Show host rounds up everything from "a cavalcade of America's most electrifying Lieutenant Governors" through to NBA Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr's basketball-themed Trump burn ("After the results are tallied that night, in the words of the great Steph Curry, we can tell Donald Trump, 'Night night'").

"Oh damn, that is a really good hit," says Colbert. "But Steve, we know if you really want to put Trump to sleep, just sit him in a court room."
